Roosters celebrate end of footy season

28/08/2008 1:01:00 PM
The Cobar Roosters will have to wait for 2009 to start their comeback after going down to the Macquarie Raiders on Sunday.

However, this hasn’t dampened spirits as the boys hit the town for the traditional Mad Monday celebrations.

Dressed in scantily clad women’s clothing the boys washed down their sorrows during a tour of Cobar’s watering holes.

Monday capped off a big night of celebration for the Roosters who will now enjoy a well earned rest before regrouping for the 2009 Group 11 season.

While the boys had few regrets about their efforts throughout the season, one couldn’t help but think there would have been a few - along with some sore heads - come

Tuesday.

Congratulations boys.
