JUNIOR TOUCH: Dubbo’s Junior Summer Touch competition will start in Term 4 on October 15.

The Dubbo Touch Association invites all junior players interested in playing to come along and enter your team at the registration and skills day being held this Wednesday from 4.30pm to 6pm at the Riverbank Ovals.

The age groups catered for this summer include under-7s, 9s, 11s, 13s and 15s for girls and boys. Mixed teams are also welcome.

Individual registrations will also be taken and these children will be placed in teams where possible.

Competition games will be played every Wednesday at 4.40pm and 5.15pm at the Riverbank Ovals.

“I encourage any children interested in playing touch or wanting to have a go to come down to the two registration and skills days,” Dubbo Touch Association president Neil Webster said.

“The skills day is a great way to try the sport for newcomers and provides current players with the opportunity to improve and develop their skills.

“The junior touch competition is great for children of all skill levels and is a fantastic way for children to get active and learn about team work.”

The junior summer competition runs for 10 weeks concluding on Wednesday, December 17.

For more information about the junior touch competition or to obtain a registration pack visit the juniors page at www.dubbohottouch.com.au or contact Neil Webster on 6884 9175 (AH).
