The A1 Monday and A2 Wednesday competitions will be the same formula as the previous competition so individual nominations will be required for those two grade teams will be put together by the night comp committee.

B2 Thursday players will be required to enter in teams of two women and two men.

A sheet will be going up in the Wingewarra Street clubhouse shortly for nominations for the spring night competition.

The next Paramount Tennis Club committee meeting will be held at the Wingewarra Street clubhouse next Tuesday.

Committee members are requested to attend.

Plans need to be made for the spring night competition and also the seniors tournament to be held in October.

Paramount Tennis Club Tuesday women’s tennis is held each week.

Tuesday women’s tennis is an open event, club membership is not required for all ladies wishing to play. Children are most welcome.

A luncheon is held on the the last Tuesday of each month the luncheon.

The luncheon for this month will be held on Tuesday August 26. The contact person for Tuesday women’s tennis is Anne Rootes - telephone 6882 5025.

Paramount Tennis Club courts at both Bultje and Wingewarra Streets are available for hire.

Bookings for the hire of the Wingewarra Street courts can be taken at the adjacent Dubbo City Bowling Club by phoning 6882 3619.

The Bultje Street courts can be hired by contacting Vicki Bolton on 6882 6975. Members are reminded that they should book the courts before going down for a hit as bookings take precedence at all times.

Members are also reminded that court hire is payable by everybody when the lights are in use and non-members accompanying a member are also required to pay court hire.

Members are reminded that membership fees should have been paid by now, any non-financial members are now treated as non members, where fees are concerned. So to avoid extra costs with court hire and playing fees get those fees to the treasurer without delay.

The JDS tournaments have now all been played with only the champion of champions event to be played on August 31.
